Two standard gamma beam irradiator models are available, the G10 and the GC60 . These irradiators produce gamma radiation of variable intensity for exposing personnel dosimetry and for calibrating radiation detection instruments. They are available with automated computer controllers or manual electronic timer controls.
The G10 may be equipped with one or two Cesium-137 sources mounted on a pneumatically operated rod. The system may be controlled by a computer or an electronic controller (PLC). The GC60 features a computer-controlled, shielded source carousel and may be equipped with up to eight Cesium-137 and Cobalt-60 sources.
